My name is Ryan and I am a software security engineer.

I currently build an offline, agentic LLM application for defensive cybersecurity tasks, designed to run on edge AI hardware with no network connection required. I own the full deployment process: packaging the software, automating builds, and getting it running reliably on NVIDIA edge hardware in the field.

Before that, I worked as an embedded software engineer, building the software that deployed, configured, and wiped rugged, high-compute edge server hardware in offline environments.

I hold a Bachelor's in Computer Science with a track in Cyber Operations from an NSA-designated National Center of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity, where I focused on reverse engineering, malware analysis, and application security. I returned to school while I worked and completed a Master's in Computer Science with a focus on data science and AI. For my masters project I researched RF device fingerprinting and trained machine learning models on features extracted from software defined radio IQ data.

In my spare time, I attend cybersecurity conferences and compete in CTFs under team Blunderbuss. I also volunteer as a ham radio operator providing emergency communications for local community events.
